PRC-CPD Approves ETCOR-SPAM, Inc.’s 4th International Research Conference on Media and Community Development (IRCMCD) for Educators A new milestone for campus journalism and media research has been achieved as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially approved the CPD accreditation of the research component of the upcoming 17th National Campus Media Conference (NCMC) 2026 organized by the School Press Advisers’ Movement, Inc., in partnership with ETCOR. The conference, scheduled on October 22–24, 2026, at the Crown Legacy Hotel, includes paper presentations on October 23 that are now eligible for CPD units as part of the approved professional development training. The partnership between SPAM, Inc. and ETCOR also opens a major publication opportunity for conference paper presenters through the International Journal of Journalism and Campus Media Practice (IJ-CAMP). During the official meeting held on May 9, 2026, in San Fernando, Pampanga, both organizations agreed to grant a 50% publication discount in IJ-CAMP for registered paper presenters of NCMC 2026. Researchers may submit either the same study to be presented during the conference or any other paper aligned with journalism, communication, media literacy, artificial intelligence in journalism, digital media, and related disciplines. Testimonials

It was my first time to join an International Search for Outstanding Educators and Researchers through ETCOR. The invitation from ETCOR I received through our Schools Division Superintendent/Regional Director was clear and very specific with the guidelines and criteria which encouraged me to prepare my documents. Upon submission of my letter of intent and my documents, I immediately received a reply that guided me of the completion of the requirements.

From then on, ETCOR, through its Secretariat, constantly communicated to me through email to facilitate any concern until the day of Final Review and Deliberations via Zoom. The Final Review and Deliberations done by the team and the Awarding Body, headed by the Event Chairman and the Head Research Consultant, was an inspiring experience because the staff and members established a very friendly atmosphere and the scores presented were really based on the criteria set. The result was more than my expectations! The recognition given me as Rank 6 for Outstanding School Leader was overwhelming! The December 27, 2021 Virtual Recognition/Awarding Ceremony delighted me, simple yet honouring!

Generally, the process of the International Search for Outstanding Educators and Researchers by ETCOR was done in a very professional manner. The steps stipulated in the guidelines were followed and the participants were treated with high respect. Congratulations to the organizers of this prestigious activity. More Power!

ETCOR provides a wide perspective in the growing field of research. More than the experience, it is a great privilege to become a research consultant here. ETCOR serves as a great foundation that attracts more clients that diversify the application and advancement of my services.

My warm greetings and deepest thanks to my ETCOR Family! Sharing my happiness and joy to be a research consultant!

ETCOR has been one of my extended family during this new normal. It all started when I was invited to be a research consultant via e-mail after attending a research workshop. Back then, I don't know about ETCOR. After I became a research consultant, I was entrusted with responsibilities that strengthen my skills in leadership and in moderating webinars. I learned a lot about research by attending the paid and free national webinar series and I had the opportunity to connect with seasoned and budding researchers.

In this tribe, you will be more inspired to do more and promote the culture of research. It is an honor to serve this extended family. More power and fruitful years ahead, ETCOR family!

God bless our future endeavors!

To be recognized internationally is out of my wildest dream. All I thought was that being a teacher is already my biggest achievement in life. I am beyond thankful to ETCOR for this opportunity. Though, I thought that this was impossible due to the pandemic, I was impressed how everything went smoothly. The overall experience was great, memorable, and meaningful to all of us - awardees. It brought me to the realization that our doors of thousands of opportunities are still open, and we should not limit ourselves to achieve greater in life because the height of our achievements will depend on the weight of our dreams.

DepEd Cagayan de Oro City, Region X, Philippines

Loyal Jack Lewman, a famous American writer and educator once said “Never stop learning, for when we stop learning, we stop growing”.

Learning never stops at ETCOR. As a school administrator and a researcher, ETCOR provided me with extensive exposures with their different research sessions conducted for the research consultants. Being a newbie in the group of research consultants this year, I was able to learn many things from the discussions especially on the in-depth analysis of qualitative and quantitative research discussed by competent research experts. The sessions conducted by ETCOR made me realized the importance of conducting research in my workplace. The knowledge, information, and insights I gained from the resource speakers from the different sessions is a life-time opportunity for me as a researcher. And through ETCOR, I was awarded as outstanding school leader for 2021.

Thank you, ETCOR, for this life-time opportunity!

It is with great honor that I became a member of this research group and awe that I receive this Outstanding School Leader Award from ETCOR Educational Research Center, which gave recognition to the efforts I have given to make our school children better learners. I’m so grateful. Thank you very much for giving me an opportunity! You uplift my confidence and trust…TO DREAM…BELIEVE AND ACHIEVE my professional goal.

ETCOR provided me an avenue to enhance further my skills in research through its trainings and seminars and at the same time it honed my leadership skills as the Regional Coordinator in the Ilocos Region (Region I).

ETCOR people are also very kind and accommodating. During my first encounter with them, I really felt that they know how to converse with other people with utmost respect and prudence. I can say that based on my personal experience with them, in terms of interpersonal behavior, the people comprising ETCOR are all well-mannered considering that they respect each other especially the new members.

ETCOR as whole can be described as an organization who has the passion to help others, to train them, to make the best out of them, and more importantly is that they transform others to become better individuals.

I also like the way ETCOR people review or scrutinize documents. They really follow procedures. They are very careful in crafting the words or sentences or paragraphs in their documents. The statements thereto are in accordance with law and not contrary to the morals, good customs or prejudicial to a third person with a right recognized by law.

I am very thankful that I found an organization that serves as scaffolding to the teachers who embrace the culture of research.

Accordingly, as my final statement, more power and God bless to ETCOR family!

One of my greatest fears is to be a webinar moderator. I can be a facilitator and speaker but never in my entire life to be a moderator wherein I must give an adlib with the participants and be nice and alive, alert, and enthusiastic in the whole program.

Being an ETCOR moderator in the webinar is precious to mee. It gives me a lot of motivation, self-confidence, and discover another talents and skills that I have. God will use people as instrument to give me an opportunity to share and experience another side of me.

I found happiness when I experienced to be a moderator that night of ETCOR’S event. As an educator we have to explore and discover our hidden talents and skills, especially now we don’t have face-to-face interactions, and webinar or any events in the school program are done virtually. ETCOR helps me a lot to overcome my fear. It made me realized that I can do it.

It’s an honor and privilege to be one of the moderators in ETCOR because this is one of my greatest achievements that I can offer to everyone. I gain more knowledge and friends - different educators all over the Philippines. ETCOR is a family to me. God bless, everyone, and MABUHAY ang ETCOR!

Becoming one of the consultants of ETCOR Educational Research Center is one the best experiences I have had. It actually helped me prepare myself for my Final Defense in the Graduate School. Now, I am about to graduate with my degree Doctor of Philosophy in Language - Filipino at Benguet State University. Being able to learn in the field of research through their series of training is just one of the best experiences. You get to know people. You get to build friendships. You get to widen more of your horizon. You get to appreciate and really embrace the culture of research. It's even humbling to have served as one of the speakers in their Project Sagip Mananaliksik for Everyone. It is one of the most unforgettable experiences. Bonus na lang iyong maging Moderator at mag-opening or closing remarks.
