ETCOR Strengthens Global Research Engagement Through Conferences, Paper Presentations, and the Forthcoming Research Caravan 2026

Since its founding, the ETCOR Educational Research Center – Philippines (ETCOR Philippines) has continuously evolved as a dynamic institution championing the culture of research across local and global arenas. What started as a grassroots advocacy through Project SAGIP MANANALIKSIK has grown into an expansive series of international conferences and paper presentations that connect researchers, educators, and professionals worldwide. The “Series of International Research Capability-Building Seminar-Workshop cum International Research Conference” became ETCOR’s hallmark program, integrating lectures, mentoring, and academic dissemination in a single platform. From online sessions to hybrid and on-site conferences, ETCOR has built a reputation as one of the Philippines’ most inclusive and transformative research organizations.

From 2020 to 2025, ETCOR’s conferences flourished into milestones of collaboration and excellence. Its first virtual and hybrid gatherings attracted scholars from the Philippines, India, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, and beyond—establishing ETCOR as a nexus of international research synergy. The conferences have since expanded to include book launching ceremonies, awards nights, and humanitarian outreach efforts that tie academic pursuit with social responsibility. The 6th International Multidisciplinary Conference on Research and Education, set on November 6–8, 2025 at the Prince Palace Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, will once again unite researchers under the theme “Embracing the Culture of Research and Aligning Inquiry with Contemporary Global Challenges.” Featuring paper presentations, training workshops, and the ETCOR Awards Night, this conference marks another defining chapter in ETCOR’s mission to cultivate global research leadership.

What distinguishes ETCOR’s conference series is its commitment to accessibility and relevance. Each installment—whether online or on-site—emphasizes practical research training, publication opportunities, and international collaboration. The upcoming conferences scheduled from September 2025 to June 2026 extend this vision further, combining qualitative and quantitative research lectures with actual paper presentations and book launches. These sessions are carefully designed to blend theory and application, with participants completing both live and offline activities that ensure genuine learning outcomes. From Manila to Bangkok and Singapore, ETCOR’s events are crafted to empower every participant to become both a learner and a contributor to global knowledge production.

In line with its expansion, ETCOR proudly introduces the ETCOR Research Caravan 2026—a mobile research initiative designed to “bring research closer” to communities. Officially launching in January 2026, the Caravan represents a strategic evolution of ETCOR’s advocacy by decentralizing research engagement. Instead of requiring participants to travel to conference centers, ETCOR will travel to schools, universities, local government units, and community organizations across the Philippines and selected international sites. Each Caravan stop will include research workshops, paper presentations, mentoring clinics, book signings, and recognition ceremonies—making research more accessible, inclusive, and community-rooted than ever before.

Even though the ETCOR Research Caravan will be formally launched in January 2026, ETCOR has already been bringing research closer to the people through earlier community-based initiatives. In fact, this November and December 2025, at least two Caravan legs are already scheduled to be held in different parts of the country—further proving ETCOR’s long-standing commitment to grassroots research dissemination. These early engagements not only preview the forthcoming formalization of the Caravan but also reflect ETCOR’s consistent efforts to bridge academic inquiry with local relevance and participation.

The ETCOR Research Caravan 2026 also formalizes partnerships through flexible hosting models that empower both ETCOR and local institutions. Partners may choose to co-host events, manage logistics, or simply provide venues while ETCOR delivers content and training. Through these collaborative frameworks, the Caravan aims to build sustainable research ecosystems that continue even after the event concludes. Participants will not only gain technical skills but also join a larger network of scholars and practitioners committed to using research for real-world impact. This initiative symbolizes ETCOR’s shift from central organization to national movement—bridging research, policy, and practice in every region it reaches.

As ETCOR prepares for its future milestones, its vision remains clear: to nurture a culture where research is not confined to classrooms or conferences but becomes an instrument of empowerment and social transformation. From its international conferences in Bangkok and Singapore to its forthcoming Research Caravan that will travel across the Philippines, ETCOR continues to create opportunities for educators, students, and professionals to grow as thinkers and changemakers. The journey that began in 2020 as a humble effort to guide researchers has now become a powerful testament to what collaboration, compassion, and commitment to truth can achieve—one conference, one presentation, and soon, one caravan at a time.
