ETCOR-SPAM, Inc.’s 4th International Research Conference on Media and Community Development (IRCMCD)
PRC-CPD Approves ETCOR-SPAM, Inc.’s 4th International Research Conference on Media and Community Development (IRCMCD) for Educators A new milestone for campus journalism and media research has been achieved as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially approved the CPD accreditation of the research component of the upcoming 17th National Campus Media Conference (NCMC) 2026 organized by the School Press Advisers’ Movement, Inc., in partnership with ETCOR. The conference research presentation program carries PRC-CPD Program Accreditation Number PTR-2025-749-13483, recognizing the academic and professional value of the event for educators, journalism advisers, campus journalists, communication scholars, and media practitioners nationwide. The conference, scheduled on October 22–24, 2026, at the Crown Legacy Hotel, includes paper presentations on October 23 that are now eligible for CPD units as part of the approved professional development training. The partnership between SPAM, Inc. and ETCOR also opens a major publication opportunity for conference paper presenters through the International Journal of Journalism and Campus Media Practice (IJ-CAMP). During the official meeting held on May 9, 2026, in San Fernando, Pampanga, both organizations agreed to grant a 50% publication discount in IJ-CAMP for registered paper presenters of NCMC 2026. Researchers may submit either the same study to be presented during the conference or any other paper aligned with journalism, communication, media literacy, artificial intelligence in journalism, digital media, and related disciplines. Strengthening the journal’s scholarly leadership, Dr. Melanie Viloria-Briones was also officially appointed as Editor-in-Chief of IJ-CAMP, reinforcing the journal’s commitment to responsible journalism research and international publication standards. As a peer-reviewed international journal published quarterly by ETCOR, IJ-CAMP promotes rigorous double-blind peer review, Crossref DOI registration, and global academic standards in journalism and media scholarship. Organizers encourage interested participants to register early and become part of this transformative national gathering themed “Shaping Powerful and Adaptive Media in the AI Era.” Registration and conference details may be accessed through the official School Press Advisers’ Movement, Inc. Facebook Page, while publication submissions for IJ-CAMP may be processed through IJ-CAMP Publication Portal. To register in the SPAM, Inc. research conference, get in touch with the Secretariat via their Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/SchoolPressAdvisersMovementInc After registering and paying as a paper presenter at SPAM, Inc., you can immediately proceed to publication with IJ-CAMP via this link: https://tinyurl.com/ResearchJournalPublication (Choose IJ-CAMP, the journal dedicated for campus journalism and media practice)
